Chureito Pagoda
I actually came back to this spot twice for this picture. It feels like almost every time I go to see Mt. Fuji, it's cloudy. The same was true the first time I visited. I went on a weekend and tried the 1.5 hour line twice hoping the clouds would break a little during the wait.
The second time, it slightly rained earlier in the day, but thankfully things cleared up enough to get this shot.
This place is popular for getting 3 iconic Japanese things in one picture: sakura, japanese architecture (the pagoda), and Mt. Fuji. They even set up some stands in the ground to give people the ability to shoot over each other.
